There's actually a whole ass isekai manga about some chick going back in time and trying to sort out some of it's bullshit to stop a financial collapse that explains a bunch of it's weird esoteric methods.
I would very much like to read this if you can help me find it.

IF you think about it it kinda makes sense that a lot of people probably don't really grasp what Dungeons and the explorers are. This all went down like maybe less than a year ago, I don't think there's actually a lot of people who have the special power that the kids in the school have, and the vast majority of those who do have the power seem to be not all that strong, being like those assholes in the failed class who stick to low levels. From the perspective of most normal people there was a brief crisis of the worlds resources disappearing and these weird towers showing up that ended up getting resolved fairly quickly by just having some guys with some weird rare trait go in and stab slimes and goblins to gather the new oil. I wonder if the average person who doesn't explicitly follow dungeon related content even knows how inhumanly strong normal high level adventurers are let along how bullshit dangerous some of the shit in just the explored parts of the dungeon are.
Those kind of people that didn't follow the new world common sense and trapped in their own past glory, actually they did show up in future arc

I know Japanese banks are giant pains in the ass to deal with... but why would anyone think they could leverage themselves against billionaire customers?
Why jap banks are pain in the ass? Are they assholer than average bank outside jap?

Oh! You're the only one to quote-ask me instead of quote-tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, so I'll happily point out things I've heard:
  1. Bank tellers will hard push foreign customers to apply online, either because they can't understand them or they've been told to do so.
  2. Often foreign customers are ineligible to apply online and will be told to bring your residence card and go back in a branch.
  3. Branch will often tell you to schedule appointment online to come back and open an account.
  4. I bet that a residence card won't be enough and you'll be sent back to get your passport, stamp, visa, etc.
  5. This was the first Reddit result when I searched on some of these problems and I'm seeing some people say "bring a copy of a bill in your name to help prove residence" ... You can't normally rent a place w/o a Japanese bank account. I don't believe you can get a normal phone account either, it's why a couple of streamers backed an e-sim company so you can skip at least some of the hassle and just get down to work/play.
Since some people hate reading, how about listening to 3 streamers talk about how difficult some interactions are with banks, even when one of them is a Japanese citizen!
<- the 2021 episode that just rocket-starts how difficult it is to deal with Japanese banks
<- The bank part of the '5 year anniversary of Trash Taste Podcast people talking about the worst things about Japan' episode.
<- Having account problems because of logging in to the fucking site. Reason? Google Translate would run as a native part of Google Chrome.

One of the nice things about this artists way of drawing is depicting people with bad intentions, makes it obvious who’s the antagonist of these arcs, and doesn’t have to make another handsome/beautiful always smiling man/woman actually be an evil person in reality.

I wonder how badly this will go for that bank manager~?
