Although most guys do not style their name like, "Bryan♂", and strong signalling about the importance of gender usually means someone is either extremely closed-minded or extremely open-minded, but it isn't always immediately obvious which without knowledge of the relevant (sub)cultures—is I believe what I was thinking at the time. Why I thought these sorts of thoughts merited mention six years ago is anyone's guess!
