I wouldn't be overly surprised if they went to make that kind of wish only for Father to announce some "You have passed my secret test" kind of thing.

1. the original mission was to kill the demon lord, which wouldn't have been THAT hard if they teamed up. the heroes just agreed it was immoral so they chose the harder route: fighting sun goddess

2., goddesses actually did grant their heroes their first wish: tachibana wished to be a peerless beauty while drunk though so it was unfair for tachibana - as jinguji said, love was sloppy (chapter 4), but many of the other heroes were happier with their wishes

3. most goddesses specifically summoned people who were dead (except love again, who was sloppy again), so it was a 2nd chance bonus for them.

We should enjoy this resolution, and though a epilogue would be amazing, I am just glad that we're ending this properly.
