Welp..
To bad our MC will not get her "first" :haa:
Aaaah, i could use the bonk emote like other people will do, or call you immature for thinking like that, but i understand this is personal preference, and i feel like after some point in life you have to understand the chance of something like that happening is likely a 1%. Anyway, at the end of the day she choose to be with him and that's what really matters.

Finally, we get the backstory to why Hizumi has such a twisted sense of love and admiration for him...

I should've expected the end was near due to the insane levels of character development we've gotten this chapter...

:meguuusad: :meguuusad: seeing her family slowly crumble apart hits hard. Both her parents suck pointing fingers and all that, the dad especially, he didn't have to be so dismissive of hizumi after all she did to support him. Hizumi's mom has no right to guilt trip her either after what she did.

A-hole ex bf too, can't forget that scumbag

This author is so so good, the symbolism is amazing. I saw the 3 ch left message and crumbled inside. I WANNA SEE THEM HAPPY AND MARRIED WITH 3 CHILDRENNN AHHHHHH:qq::qq:

Chapter 26 already confirm it in vague way btw
No, it doesn't confirm anything. Hizumi tells him she feels bad because she has taken some of his "firsts," (first girlfriend, first spare key and first kiss) yet she hasn't given him one in return. When Hizumi asks if she should give him one of her firsts, Shinba’s first thought is "the act." Shinba then asks her deeper, and Hizumi mentions the fact that she has never cried; however, when she originally asked if she should give him one of her firsts, she wasn't referring to crying since that wouldn't make sense in that context because they are in a hotel and she is on top of him...

Iwaba-sensei confirmed that there will be an intimate scene between them, so let's see what happens xD. But for me it's a mistake saying "it's confirmed".

The butterfly at the end really hits bro.Instead of representing our ML it actually represented her for her growth and finally “breaking out” out of her chrysalis/past and finally finding the love she wanted.

Really great way to symbolize someone’s growth since butterflies are commonly known for its symbolism of rebirth and change.

It’s just one panel that doesn’t confirm anything per se. Hizumi has also been sexually propositioned to Shinba sometimes as a form of manipulation, knowing he will reject her.

It's because she once spoiled his ex boyfriend to the point of leaving her behind. So she agrees with doing everything the ex wanted, like sex. So Hizumi declared that she will discipline Shinba but not spoil him too much, so she was careful. But that doesn't mean she isn't a virgin just yet unless we get to the intimate scene which we'll get to on the later chapters. She may explain that her first was taken by her ex and was happy at first and regretted it, but that's just my assumption.

However, I could still see the comparison of chapter 26 where Hizumi pins down Shinba where her clothes are still on and on the one panel scene from chapter 29 where her panties where shown which was pretty vague. Meaning, she may have done this, like her advances to Shinba into kissing without hesitation is too obvious. It was because she was too forward.

The dad... Hoo boy, f*ck the guy. He even left his daughter and sees his job more important than his family and even got an affair like he deserves this life. I guess cheaters make the worst characters I could see the pattern lmao. The dad and the ex boyfriend are sh*t people, but still winning in life. Like the ex-bf took Hizumi's virginity lmao.I really don't think Shinba would become such a horrible person even if he ever changes. He even swore to never hurt her, so there has to be atleast some resolution between Hizumi and Shinba where this is going with Izumi.

So yeah, I think the ex boyfriend situation doesn't matter anymore since there are only 3 chapters left. What matters is the resolution between Shinba and Hizumi.

There's going to be an update on October 5 for the next chapter maybe?

I mean, both of them are wrong... But his wife really did neglect the shit out of him, so I can understand why he started getting more involved with people who actually seemed interested in what he had to say, especially when his own wife clearly didn't care much about those things.

But at the same time... he became a fucking horrible person. Both of them are awful for neglecting their daughter and for what they did later. Both. But her father, dude... I wanted to punch the shit out of that asshole. Like, she was nothing to him? SERIOUSLY? I can somewhat understand him being bitter toward his wife, but his own daughter? Nah. I really hope he got fucked over.

And her mother projecting the shit out of her own failures onto her own daughter is also absurd. She has absolutely no right to act like she's somehow above all this and in the right. Control narcisistic freak.

Thanks for the translation and for the final notes! <3
Success brings the absolute WORST out of people with insecurities. This unfortunately is a very common story. He either became a drug addict or a well known slimeball that's still super successful or both.

While i can understand the dad drifting away and coming to feel nothing for his absent wife who kept putting him down and dismissing him.

Its harder to understand why he abandoned his daughter. My guess, he just grew so disillusioned with what he thought was his "family" and old way of life that he wanted to distance himself from it completely. That having her around would be a constant reminder of the loser of he used to be and he didnt want that in anyway, shape, or form. He became super selfish after years of repressing his own wants and desires. From never being validated as a person.

Its honestly sad and infuriating that he couldnt be a better person who was still there for his daughter. Yet he is too weak to actually deal with his past and insecurities. Just run from them and act like that was a totally different person.

And honestly, its no surprise this happened. That marriage was bad from the start and even if he never did become successful, you can see he was desperate to achieve something. Something else would have gone wrong down the road.

What a sad state of affairs
