Glad to see that people's theories about Narnia not being so bad last week were proven wrong. This man is a despicable racist, he hates the idea of hybrids, his issues with his father stem from no moral high ground. His racism just happens to occur in a way that benefits Iruma at this moment.

I wouldn't have it any other way. I love two villains who come into conflict not because one of them crosses some moral line the other won't, but because their two different flavors of evil are incompatible. It makes for such a fun dynamic.

The thing is, his father's obsession is likely why he's so against humans. He knows that devils can be lowered to their worst level just to get at a human. He does not hate Iruma, or even humans.

I personally can't wait to see Kiriwo being devastated with how wrong he was, that Iruma not only has demons who are on his side, they also are willing to fight tooth and fang to get him back.

Even the most against him is wanting to get him out of harm's way just to deny the other party's ambitions.

Already said something on a prior comment, but I think Kirio is also forgetting the elephant in the room of "someone from the family that hates his ass literally works at Demon Border Patrol, so most of them are likely relatively familiar with how Barrier works."
Like unless Nightwalker did some Behemolt style bullshit to him we haven't seen (which I won't rule out neccessarily!), Kirio is overeager and forgetting that other people perceive his family.

... pretty typical origin behavior, I think.

(I'll also note that Kirio thematically is getting what he wanted (the Underworld potentially falling into chaos as heirarchies disintegrate) and he's forgotten he cared about it because he's so fixated on eating Iruma. )

Man, this is basically the big setup to see Kirio get devastated when he finally confront Iruma and his allies about Iruma's identity and they were like "so what?" and continue to be on Iruma's side anyway. That's gonna be the best dish served lol.

Calling it now, he's going to switch sides once he finds Iruma is doing fine just because the only actual despair he could bring at that moment is fucking up Baal and Nightwalker's plans when they're this close to succeeding after literal decades of prep.

Yeah like... I think the only reason Naberius isn't just killing Iruma is the obvious Very Messy (quite literally even, depending on the method) political fallout of doing that over just kicking him back to the human world in the legal way, not even mentioning the 'if Naberius were to kill Iruma in the Demon World that's just more potential dna for his freak of a father to play with'.
He's still getting messy political fallout Now, but it's definitely way less outcry than if he just took the magic equivalent of a glock out (which tbh considering he deliberately aimed at Iruma in literally one of the ten most recent chapters without necessarily knowing that Shiida would get in the way in time, he's not necessarily fully averse to that either.
