The author made the amazing writing decision to NOT make her inevitable this time around, by stating she likely got thrown into a different place than either of them instead. So she COULD appear at any moment, if they so please, BUT have excuses to actually try and write other solutions to the problem without having her be the most reasonable one to reach for first.

HELL, they're even stating that the assassin hunting them down is specialized in combating the hero, who's mainly agility-adjacent. So, even if she DID come to the rescue, it would still get dragged along until a more clever solution than "overpower her" was put in place, in a similar way to how the other masters have had their non-trivial fights go so far.
