In vol.2, there’s a lot more romantic moments and fan service for Hiyori.

But that whole issue gets resolved fast once Yusuke and Hiyori officially become a couple, and Hiyori finally gets brave enough to tell everyone what actually happened between her and Yoshihide.
In the end, Yoshihide shuts himself in at home and refuses to go back to school, since his childhood friend got taken by Yusuke, and his girlfriend Nina also got stolen by the basketball team captain.

While hanging out at the basketball court, Yusa Gakuto, a basketball club member, crushed some other student in a 1-on-1 match. Yusa then challenged Yusuke, but the match ended with Yusuke winning thanks to his height advantage. The other guys, including Yusa, got a little jealous seeing Yusuke get cheered on by Hiyori and assumed the two of them were already dating.
★ Actually, Yusuke and Hiyori weren’t officially together yet. Yusuke was still waiting until Hiyori could really get over her ex, Kouma Yoshihide. But to everyone else, their relationship already looked like way more than just friends. Yusuke heard a rumor that Shimura Nina, the girl Yoshihide cheated with while he was still dating Hiyori, was now dating the basketball team captain, Yabuse. There was also another rumor saying Nina wasn’t actually dating him, she was just constantly flirting with talented players, which made the other female managers hate her. That gossip made Yusuke think even more about his relationship with Hiyori, since he didn’t want their relationship to be compared to Nina’s.
★ As a thank-you for Yusuke helping Reika, and Hiyori helping Kumagawa Yuki study, Reika and Yuki gave them a pair of tickets to the aquarium. Yusuke and Hiyori were really looking forward to their next day off so they could go together. The aquarium didn’t just have fish exhibits, it also had rides like an amusement park. They enjoyed a bunch of rides until Hiyori suggested trying an extreme, adrenaline-pumping one. Yusuke was actually scared, but pushed through since he didn’t want to disappoint Hiyori. After getting off the ride, his face went pale, so Hiyori made him sit on a park bench and rest his head on her lap. When Yusuke invited her to dinner, he said he wanted to spend more time with her, to make up for the time they lost during Golden Week. Hiyori was really happy, even grateful that her big chest could hide Yusuke’s face so he wouldn’t see how embarrassed she looked.
● Meanwhile, Yoshihide’s grudge against Yusuke kept growing. He still thought Hiyori had been stolen from him by Yusuke and felt like he wasn’t the one in the wrong. Yoshihide had once seen Yusuke alone with women other than Hiyori, so he tried gathering evidence of cheating by stalking those women. Turns out, those women were actually Reika and Yuki, Hiyori’s friends. Yusa, who found out what Yoshihide was doing, warned him to stop stalking Yuki. But Yoshihide instead tried to get Yusa to team up with him, since he knew Yusa seemed to like Yuki. That offer got shut down immediately, since Yusa didn’t believe Yoshihide’s accusation that Yusuke was a playboy.

Hiyori’s mom agrees to the request and plans to set it up so they can meet soon.
★ Mutsumi then asks Hiyori to pick up a microwave she just bought at an electronics store, bringing along a male friend. Hiyori finds it weird, since the store should’ve been able to deliver it themselves. She realizes her mom’s trying to set her up with Yoshihide. But instead, Hiyori chooses to bring Yusuke along. Hiyori doesn’t blame her mom for doing this, since she knows it’s her own fault for never having the courage to explain what really happened with Yoshihide from the start.
★ Yusuke starts feeling conflicted about his relationship with Hiyori. After talking it over with his mom, he finally decides to make their status clear. He wants to truly become Hiyori’s boyfriend, not just a friend, so he can protect her more freely from Yoshihide. His main goal is simply to make Hiyori happy.
★ In Hiyori’s room, Yusuke confesses his love again. Unlike before, when he was still asking Hiyori to wait, this time Yusuke’s seriously asking her to be his girlfriend. Hiyori happily accepts the confession. Not long after, Hiyori’s mom comes home and is shocked to see an unfamiliar guy in the house. Hiyori introduces Yusuke as her boyfriend. With Yusuke’s support, Hiyori finally gets the courage to tell the truth about Yoshihide’s cheating. Mutsumi’s really shocked and disappointed in Yoshihide.
