Yeah I'm satisfied, thanks for giving it closure! it was a really nice fantasy yuri with a good amount of action, it could've continued and there's the novel so maybe one day...

But the dragon thingy really is left in the air and makes me wonder, doesn't she have magic now thanks to the dragon mark? that's her own thing she gained fairly... Maybe in the novel she loses control or something, idk but that's magic in her body, no?

IIRC they announced a while ago where they want to end the adaptation. I don't think its a rushed ending though, 54 chapters and decent amount of arcs and resolution, not the worst adaptation since it didn't really feel like a promotion compared to other adaptations. Definitely better than the anime adaptation

It's really sad to think that with how the ending of the manga played out that Euphie is now immortal and Anis will die of old age in about 80 years.

Adds a sort of bittersweet tragedy to the whole thing.

The whole point of this was to make Euphie worthy of becoming Queen without having to go through the ritual. The achievements of Magicology has given her the right to be adopted by the Royal family and ascend to the throne, which makes her the last Queen of the old ways, as the ritual will no longer be used.

Considering everything, the ending was fine. Story was already effectively "concluded" with that massive duel (not the one Anis and Euphie had a few chapters ago, mainly that one with AL), so it was a matter of time I suppose.

This almost feels like a "go buy the LN" type ending, but that is what these are for at the end of the day, so that checks out. Onwards to victory!

I find it somewhat amusing that the manga ends at exactly the same place the anime did. Was hoping for one last kiss between the two but oh well. I guess I'll head over to the light novel now.
