The longer this series goes on, the more I wonder when the shoe will drop and her past will come out.
She drugged and raped so many girls, and there was no comeuppance at all.

I know the series stopped being lewd and dropped all sexual stuff in the dodgeball arc, but this is a different character. And even if she changed and had character growth, at some point, someone needs to acknowledge the fact that she willingly drugged everyone with Tea. It makes these emotional moments, so weird to me.

It’s like watching Bill Cosby have an emotional touching scene, and in the back your head you’ve like “wait Bill.. didn’t you rap-“ “WHOA BZAT PUDDING SCIBIDIBOOP”, oh bill you’re so silly, welp.

I think you forgot that every time it backfired on her because she never intended for these girls to be the target of the druging , and she got punched in the face a few times for being a scumbag

I feel like the comeuppance was that Itsumi was the one who ended up being attacked when the potion was in effect. She never actually did anything to the girls who got drugged, and a lot of the time the girl who got drugged took it without Itsumi intending to give it to them. The only case this could have been argued was with Rin, except Rin never actually took the potion. I guess she did get pretty handsy with her under the assumption that Rin took the potion, but Rin was very into it except for the part where Itsumi flipped her skirt.

She has had actual sex only twice, once with Yomotsuka when she was not under the potion, and with Rin, who never drank the potion in the 1st place

I don't like weighing in on things like this as everyone gets to have their own interpretation of the comic, but I think it would be helpful if you considered that since this is a romantic comedy gag manga the actions of the characters take place in a heightened space, they're not directly comparable to real life. For example, when Itsumi gets punched in the face, that's a joke, she's a cartoon character and she goes flying backwards, she doesn't get seriously injured and so it would be wrong to say that what the other character did was the equivalent of real life "assault and battery".

I do think there's something really interesting in the way Wagayuri plays with genre in this regard. During the Cops and Robbers arc we change genres to a kind of shounen power battle, Ookado's physical prowess is enough that she can jump up walls and catch herself in a back handspring, Kamisada was able to shrug off getting hit by a truck with full force. The final battle between Itsumi and R in that arc is in itself the genre of the comic reasserting itself! R loves pain, loves injury, Banryuu wants things to be serious and adult, but Itsumi is a Looney Tunes character and this is her romantic comedy. She can dodge every attack R makes because none of them are "funny" enough, and she can send the professional hitman sprawling because she bent down to pick up a 500Y coin she found on the floor. This is why Yomotsuka picked her to bring Banryuu back to school, because she knew lighthearted romantic comedy is what everyone wants here!

Lastly, on the way warning tags are applied, these are put on a series and chapters specifically to protect readers who might be sensitive to such content. The intention of the comic is that when someone drinks tea spiked with the love potion that it's a light hearted comedy beat, but someone who has had a personal experience with being drugged or otherwise finds it unpleasant would not enjoy that in the same way. The tags are there to help those people choose to steer clear of that content without necessarily implying anything about the characters or the story itself, it's just for us out here in the real world.

Itsumi can get punched in the face and it's only a looney tunes gag, it's funny, but Mukai got the shit kicked out of her and has had to wait for her broken arm to heal, her own dad slapped her in the face hard enough to leave a mark!
Because of this we can see the authors pointing to different kinds of violence and saying "this is a joke" and "this is serious".

Kids goofing around is just a joke, R hunting them for sport is just a game, but Itsumi and Mitsuki getting abused by their parents is serious and it has lasting consequences.

I'm really excited to see where Tsukuda's disappearance goes in this regard because right now I don't know whether this is going to be a crime beat (mobsters got her!), a supernatural beat (yuri ghosts got her!), a romantic beat (she was lost at sea!) or a comedy beat (she's been looking for her girlfriend one street over these last two years!).
