for the same reason Hikari chose that inn? Maruto does this w/ memories w/ Aya by having everyone choose the bus stop even though they all have lots of memories at lots of places.

But I'm thinking this more b/c Haru and Yuki asked Yuu if Hikari ran to a place they've shared memories at and he dismissed it out of hand and had instinctively chosen a place where he had memories with Aya. Maybe the inn choice leads Yuu to realize that no really she cares about their shared memories, which then I think that's the route toward an everyone is single ending.

Chapters 46-47 are mending things w/ Ta-Kun. Sitting w/ their backs to each other is a call back/reset to the first chapter. She may not want to date him but they're friends again as far as the story is concerned.

She chose it because they were nearby, she wasn't planning to go there.
It worked with Yami and the bus stop because that's the place she met Yuu first and where she became friends with Hikari under questionable circumstances. So, the strongest memories and within their reach, not a random place somewhere far from home from their early childhood.

She was frustrated with it sure. But she could have gotten over it, Yuu on the other hand pretended to not have a thing for Yami then pretended to be over her and pretty much broke Hikari's heart even more than simply rejecting her. Yami put Hikari in a situation where she could've been sexually abused. Then after knowing Hikari liked Yuu but never came clean about being with him and then go behind her back and getting intimate with him again after pushing him away.

If being a little upset that her best friend got together with her crush is crazy then what the fuck are the other two!?

Also to Hikari this inn isn't a random place where they had memories but an encapsulation of the very (domestic/warm/familial/ interlaced) nature of their relationship. Just like the bus stop is the "fate" that underlies Aya & Yuu's ship.
I think Maruto is being intentional here w/ them being at a place of Hikari/Yuu memories & Yuu a few chapters back not even considering the possibility.
