Turns out if you wanna make progress all you need to do is complain a little bit about how lazy you are online and suddenly you'll do a little bit of work
Haven't made any progress, I'm just lazy now. I don't really feel like working on it. Played Metal Gear Solid while a friend watched as I kept dying in the most ridiculous ways (I'm horrible at this) instead.
I recently went to the doc to check my ears, he gave me some eardrop things which softens the wax inside my ears (apparently they're both blocked when I thought only one was) and now I can't hear as well, hopefully this works after the full 5 days
Have been trying to work on the thing I said I would be I have no idea what kind of mood this is even supposed to be so I'm just throwing in the towel and using this for the manga panel that guy sent last time which I was supposed compose to (for some reason his profile has been deleted or something so I can't ping him either)
I have no idea what I'm doing, I've made 'funni haha anime background' music before but never anything 'funni haha anime lewd background music' before. The only reference I have is Darkness' Theme from Konosuba.
Does anybody know anything that's similar to that as well?
Thinking of trying something different, someone send me a manga page/panel with context so that I can compose maybe a small 30-second snippet of music based on it or something (thanks)
Today I kinda remembered how some of my kouhais in college cried for us senpais when we were nearing our graduation. That memory always brings me kinda down in a melancholic way.

Hmm I've been wanting to learn how to use voice synthesizers since I've never really tried using them seriously in a composition before but I don't know what the lyrical topic should be about
After reading the two Tomoe Mami X Years After mangas and the Seishun no After manga, all I can really think about is how time is unkind when it comes to the strength of the relations between people sometimes. Friends, lovers, family, some of these just erode as the days go by.
These days I find myself wondering how writers come up with grand mythologies like in Elden Ring. Where does one even start? With a 'central figure' and start branching out from there?
Hmm, I've been reading quite a bit of heartfelt anime these past few days but i haven't been able to cry or anything like that. I still feel 'sad' when 'those' scenes come up, and 'happy and relieved' when 'those other' scenes appear, but not like before I think. I wonder why.
The feeling of getting home and the stage of [Take shoes off -> Take socks off] always feels great and liberating.
