I've been working for 3 days, THREE DAYS at an ice cream parlour as a server, in these past two days I worked 9 hour shifts, today I worked a 10 hour shift, all straight no breaks. I respect nurses and their long working hours a lot but this isn't for me, I'm not a nurse, I can't do these sorts of schedules...
Put new string on my flamenco guitar after always knowing it with the same rusty, deep sounding strings, the new ones (especially the basses) are so clear!!
On other news, my mandolin broke both E strings and due to the strangely long scale length, it's gonna be difficult to find new strings for it, also it'll have to be sent to the factory because the neck has started to bend under the factory strings' tension... quite bad construction I'd assume...
I found a website that makes my computer's keyboard work like a Chromatic Button Accordion! This is quite fun because sometimes I like to play music while spotify's in the background and this system is much more space efficient for this layout in comparison to a Piano-style layout on the qwerty
have you noticed how there are, like, universal foods? like, steak with some sort of potatoes, or beans, rice and protein, or filled breads... there really is no individual experience is there?
How can people wrap their heads around guitars?? Like, I get Mandolins, Cavaquinhos tuned in G and the double bass and I'll get the ukulele if I ever see myself liking that flacid "boink-boink" ahh sound (so, 4-stringed chordophones), I get it you know? Cause, like, I have fingers to fret every string, but a guitar??? Beats me
Am I the only guy here who has a spreadsheet with all the manga they ever had read catalogued by website, state of completion/ abandonment and chapter most recently read + pie charts to accompany it?
still, when you're the one changing strings for 12 instruments (not all mandolins) for an upcoming tour (happened to me in january), classical headstocks are WAY bettter
