    A bit of a ramble.

    I've always knew that official translators had a rot in their core group in terms of that cadre that companies tap to do their TLs for them.

    It was always in the back of my mind. That is why I always watch my anime with subs so I can compare what I am hearing to what I am seeing.

    The thing is that a script adapter is not a translator. They can be both, but not all scrit adapters are translators in the language of the original work. And this situation happens when they work with a translator who (normally) knows the original language!

    That is true enough @KATCRX. Was still a struggle either way.

    It was said in vague enough terms @Basic_human so I won't potentially doxx myself lol. Meetings set up along multiple timezones and further actions needing doing through said timezones made it so that I'd only get roughly 1-2 hours of sleep if I really forced it. So I just stayed up instead lol.

    Overall, I'd rather just read some manga :p

    There isn't really much for me to read tho honestly. Doing TL for free is hard so all I can do is be patient.

    I looked at my phone and I just realized that I need to customize my wallpapers. Been trying to find BA and Hololive themed ones.

    I'll keep trying.... but I need to sleep.
