Numbers in these Chinese series feel off. When they say 100 years it feels like 10 years would make more sense, when thy say a million years it feels like 10000 would fit the text better. It's as if the translators added a 0 for every 3.

I found this to be surprisingly boring. I like all the particular elements, they are just badly put together as an uninteresting story.
