Amazing dialogue writing/translation! I don't know what will happen in the future, but I think anyway it'll likely be written will make sense to me, and it'll be satisfying. Both lead characters "speak to me" so much; it's hard to express my appreciation without using the cliched phrases, but...

The later volumes would've ended up much better if the romance was just embraced. I've had a number of close platonic relationships, their pining for each other is much more similar to a romance than to any of those.

Chapter 25 pisses me off. The way the mangaka just ends Akemi like that is horrible. Up until then I was really appreciative of how they were handled, then it's all thrown randomly and quickly into the garbage, seemingly for some mild comic relief.

Hmm, at least in the first 5 chapters, things are very slow and nothing substantial is going on. Might be cute and heartwarming to some people, but I don't really like it (and no judgement, I love tons of insubstantial fluff manga). I'll check out the next 5 chapters before long, but my opinion...

I was quite surprised to learn the writer was straight. All realistic and fine writing for the lesbian character, the biphobic internal monologue is definitely a little realistic for many. Wish there was more about Yuri though, it would probably fit well at the end with some more concluding...
