The one thing I don’t get is, what difference would it make that Mu, was an executive? Mu quit, and the colleague she had did as well. Am I missing some cultural thing?
I feel like I missed something with the flow of the story. Did it switch from flashback to current time? Or is this all still immediately after Yuki got fired. It just seems odd for her to remark how “everything is still the same” if she had been let go only moments before, because of course...
