If this were a fan translation I'd be 100% happy with the quality of the translation but I've read MTL + proofreader work better than this. I mean it ain't my business what people do with their money but this is a "thanks to whoever commissioned the TL" instead of a "thanks for the TL" situation.

Damn, villains just went from "potentially interesting" to "I don't care anymore" in just 1 chapter. Them not trying to capture / kill MC is nonsense and can only lead to boring "we want you to join us" plotlines.

Personally I'd say give them a week but considering the circumstances I'm sure most people wouldn't judge you if you did not. 8 months is a whole lot of time to not say a word about a manga with volumes out while actively translating other stuff.
