i kinda like that idea. these first two chapters have already been pretty neat, the writing didn't seem too cheesy and the characters don't appear to be duper dense oafs. which already puts them ahead of 80-90% of romance series out there
don't think it really has to. using a premise as the kickstarter for a relationship and then not coming back to it is rare but not unheard of
i wouldn't be upset if this was the last we saw of it

i think that's great news. finding a good ending point for a series is a hard task that a lot of authors fail to accomplish (lots of examples come to mind). i think this series is pretty much at its peak right now, so perfect point for the finish.
