I agree, this does come off as very random plot development. It is also a total change in tone for the series. If it was caused by her constantly begun around Ayakashi, something should have indicated that there would be consequences. However, none of the characters ever made any mention of...

That smile...omg. So cute! I hope they explain how her “disease” works, since it’s now apparent she has some control over it. Also the fact that in, I believe ch 1, her legs were clearly tree but now they’re normal.

Seriously, it would be a pretty jerkish move to suddenly end the series on a less than fluffy note. If anything, I’m leaning more towards any loss in her ability being related to her finally having human friends, though that weird thing with her feet disappearing (?) does give credence to her...

@serenata I agree. It’s confusing when they do that. Other places say it’s still ongoing, so it’s hard to know for sure if they mean the manga itself or the translation.

Why is it that, with each chapter, Hitomi-chan’s moe level keeps going up?!

I admit I like the art style, particularly the vampire girl’s design, but... She is laying the ‘drama queen’ on a bit too thick...

Well...I'm sold. I am curious about how her disease works. In the first flashback of her (new) friend joining the company her hands looked normal. In the second flashback with the shoes, one of her legs had turned partly into a tree. But at the present time, both of her legs looked fine.
