Yeah, there were some pretty weird lines on Ookuma’s part, but I just chalked it up to the translation and the sometimes weird and confusing ways Japanese people say things. I have a hard time believing Ookuma is really THAT stupid.
Had he not come off as such a creep, I would probably have applauded the manager for not letting his employees get taken advantage of. However, he just comes off as too much of a creep...
I have sooo many questions...
If she kills and butchers every guest she has... how has she not been found out and arrested?
I also have to assume that if the other maids don’t know about their mistress being a cannibal, that the mistress is the one who is butchering the people up so well...
Loving the story so far. Can’t wait to see how their relationship develops.
The one thing I don’t get is, what difference would it make that Mu, was an executive? Mu quit, and the colleague she had did as well. Am I missing some cultural thing?
I feel like I missed something with the flow of the story. Did it switch from flashback to current time? Or is this all still immediately after Yuki got fired. It just seems odd for her to remark how “everything is still the same” if she had been let go only moments before, because of course...
