I’ve noticed this trend as well with this author. I’ve always attributed it more to Neji starting too many projects at once (like when Neji was working in Bocchi, Vacation Maou, and Prison Town all at once), then getting bored with the previous one(s) and just ending them awkwardly and abruptly...

Not really thrilled with the new plot twist. Its an unnecessary twist due to there already being plenty of obstacles, drama, suspense, etc within the Feudal Era setting already to feel the need to bring other "travelers" into the mix. Would have much rather they had kept it to just her...

Good premise and enjoyable characters (at least the two mains), but the horrible bait and switch ending ruined it all. 5/10
