I've been in similar situations before and sometimes you keep the lie going as far as you can even when you know that, the longer you make it last, the harder is gonna be to end it all in the future and the harsher the consequences will be (rather, you don't even believe that future will happen, or it's too far into the future to even care now). I'm actually not that annoyed by the fact that Kanda hasn't told her yet because I can understand her... but reading it once a month makes it seem like an eternity. I also wish they'd bring up that thing I talked about where Kanda asked her if she'd be fine with a girl too, because it really could make things a lot easier, in Kanda's mind, and of course if she'd told her friend they'd be trying to stiffle their laughs at how stupidly Kanda's handling this. But let's be real, Kanda's lucky because Satomi really doesn't care at all, so this is mostly like Kanda vs Kanda inner-fight, and I pray we get some really cute moments when Kanda confesses she's a girl, gets accepted anyways, and gets comforted by Satomi, and then also Satomi teaching Kanda how to open up because honestly this girl is a mess with feelings and emotions she can barely talk about them.

But in all seriousness, it’s nice to see that the author hasn’t forgotten the whole idea behind this story. I feel it may take a while, but the truth will come out sooner than later. And when it does, the story can still go on for a few more chapters so Ookuma can come to terms with the whole “oh, shit, I’m gay!”. That’d be very interesting.

I actually have a close friend who was very tomboyish and often seen as a guy.
Kinda of hard to approach so only her close friends knew she was a girl but she didn’t really care.
Even 3 years later when we graduated, a 70% of students still thought she was a guy and maybe some still do lol.
Now after 5 years of struggle in real life. she's actually become a guy, trans guy.
And she’s a him now and he’s popular as ever and even has a gf!! So anything is possible.

Not saying Kanda should become a guy tho lol but that kind of misunderstanding do happen.

Anyways I’m loving this story so much, it’s so real and I wouldn’t mind if the misunderstanding keeps on for a few more chapters but the “official” romance between them hasn’t started yet!
So once the secret is out Ookuma accepts her, that’s when their love troubles like jealousy, kisses, intimate dates and such will start.

Looking forward and I wish I could buy the manga cause I’ve been waiting so long but the virus has ruined everything.

It’s sad to see the lies dragging out and keeping us from the warm, fluffy, Kase-San style yuri series this desperately wants to be. Sadly, after this recent chapter, I think Kanda’s friend has more respect for Ookuma than she does. Especially considering Kanda doesn’t even realize how much worse it would be for Ookuma to have to learn Kanda’s secret from Kai, rather than straight from Kanda herself.

For a guy that seemed like a douche he gave out some solid advice and really backed up his friend in a moment of need, at times like that when you're revealing something so personal you really want someone to not make a big deal out of it and support you, i was quick on judging you douche looking guy.

So maybe she will still accept Kanda after all the drama is over. Or maybe that won't b the case anymore because Kanda dragged it on for too long. She probs gonna break Kanda's heart like she did her and break up with Kanda then date a real dude. Damn, that's gonna suck.
