@ilikepi31415 If Zun is doing that, then he is forgetting what he already did, or retconning things in a half done manner again. It was already established that they could leave on their own will.

@Tessou The more realistic take is that she likes what they have, but doesn't like him that way, and wants to step back so that he can get over her. Better for her to actually just reject him early on rather than lead him on.

So many bad end flags there for his hopes. Well, it will help him grow if he can get over it.

@TheGodEmperor I remember some kids being like that back when I was in elementary school. I think I remember some kids having girlfriends in the last year of elementary school too. Though, it wasn't till middle school where that really got off the ground.

@iginto Have you seen the screencap from one of the Ultraman series where a guy is screaming, from one of the few remaining rooftops of a city, at Ultraman that he didn't save a thing? Blast's backstory is basically that, he saved the day, but destroyed the city he was protecting in the process...

Basically, the knights want to flex in front of their love interests, who hate their guts because they, the women that is, are dense enough to bend light.

She looked like she was going for the kiss there, but chickened out. That or she was hoping for him to pick up on the opportunity she was presenting to him. She was flagging hard to try to say "I'm available" to him, but that combo of events would make things look really bad to someone like him...

@ilikepi31415 It is odd that no one notices her pointed ears. That isn't just Miyoi, though. That or they have an agreement to ignore her given that she has the deal to write newspapers for the village; kind of like how they ignore the rabbit youkai, apparently mostly Reisen, that sell medicine...
