I feel like I've followed this series pretty well for the most part, but this left me thoroughly confused. I thought I might have accidentally skipped a chapter or two, but apparently not.
Yet another manga where the wannabe rapist gets off with no lasting consequences - and where he's allowed to keep his criminal behavior secret, leaving others vulnerable to him in the future.
I have to assume that part of the reason Japan seems to love slavery stories is that they've never truly had to renounce their own history of enslaving people throughout East and Southeast Asia.

It's not ideal when a new character is introduced as a rival to the character whose name is in the title of the series and that character immediately becomes the most interesting character in the whole story.
