Potion Danomi de Ikinobimasu! - Vol. 4 Ch. 23.1

@Chrona You should know by now the TL is retarded. Just look at that page's size, and you'll see that the multi-paragraph text was unnaturally inserted.

This Villainess Wants a Divorce! - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

@Viopera No one would have minded just an April Fools joke release. The problem was that you guys uploaded TWO April Fools releases a few hours apart, one with nothing but a blank page saying "April Fools!", and then a second release that was parts of this chapter with edited dialogue leading up...

April Fools Chapter 17 (Survive as the Hero's Wife)

@irmaars21 Even if it might be rude to the scanlation group, the user who uploaded this (@Kepki) could feel it was far more rude to upload 3 (THREE) April Fools "chapters" that provided nothing but annoyance. Which do you think was worse? As a reader, I find the scanlator group's offense much...

The New Gate - Vol. 7 Ch. 46

@Kilryu Chosen ones so far are revealed to be people who inherited skills and knowledge pertaining to skills, from birth. IIRC, it seems to be related to the Reincarnation system in The New Gate (game), where players could start their character over and carry over skills to start with, and some...

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - Vol. 12 Ch. 53 - Myulan the Witch

@Hadski He wasn't a criminal. He was a mercenary that was being used as a throw-away piece to fight the Orc Disaster.

Jimi na Kensei wa Sore Demo Saikyou Desu - Vol. 1 Ch. 9

@Kiriha Rather than sage arts being outright the strongest, I think the fact that it lets you control "life force" means that they can extend their lifespan indefinitely, and so have more time to become stronger. It's like how the elves in LotR are so skilled and amazing in combat simply for...

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - Vol. 11 Ch. 51 - The Queen of Spirits

@ac1d1c if you want a super-literal and dry translation for everything, just use a machine translation.

Tensei Kyuuketsuki-san wa Ohirune ga Shitai - Vol. 4 Ch. 18

@STORRM IIRC (just double checked ch 1 to make sure), she picked the name "Argento Vampir" or something with "Vampir(e)" in English, so it's not that obvious to people in that world. Translator just did a bad job of conveying that.

Boku no Heya ga Dungeon no Kyuukeijo ni Natteshimatta Ken - Vol. 3 Ch. 12 - The Case of the Darkness that Lurks along with a new Home

@kaminomikan It's a national TV station, and it gets its funding from what's effectively a TV tax; people capable of watching the national broadcast pay a fee. Thus, a TV tax. Goodluck sueing a law. From the country's perspective, you might as well sue for paying taxes that allow you to use city...

Boku no Heya ga Dungeon no Kyuukeijo ni Natteshimatta Ken - Vol. 3 Ch. 12 - The Case of the Darkness that Lurks along with a new Home

IIRC, the UK has a sort of TV tax (which I don't know the full details of), and I assume Japan has something similar, meaning they'd have to verify if he actually has a TV or not. Honestly, it'd be better to ask someone who knows about this shit, but looking at the Wikipedia article on NHK...

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin - Vol. 3 Ch. 14

@yohane Depends entirely on the culture. Plenty of nations just killed prisoners they captured in battle without issue. A whole "leave no prisoners" thing. Heck, some of the Mesoamerican tribes did war explicitly to capture and sacrifice captives. "War crimes" is a completely modern idea.

    So I'm a Spider, So What? - Vol. 7 Ch. 32.2

@kaminomikan @GalladeGuy Although honey bees are an invasive species in the Americas, thanks to our help they've out-competed most other pollinators. As a result, if they go, we'll be in trouble unless other pollinators can quickly replace them. Is this what they call irony?
