Yeah, winter being over was sudden. But they are on a hot, humid Island you know. Winter in some places is rather warm compared to others. Also, Sei's character development is similar to the MC of Holyland, one of the author's other works... brooding, pushed to violence, narrow-minded about...

Maybe if they deliver some of that food to Sawada, he'll forgive them? It's enough for a good while if you ration it. The extra clothes may come in handy too.

This manga went a different direction than I expected. Diving into issues of the ensemble cast is a little jarring when there's also the war narrative, but it's not unwelcome. I wish these character mini-arcs were ordered differently.

Damn. I was hoping that Kai would find the veteran vegetable man. Have some Vagabond-like character development. But I suppose this is more realistic , at least based on what we've seen of Kai.

Alright, I've been reserved with deciding whether a person should die or not, but damn Kai really did it now. This is worse than anything Sawada or some of the crazies have done to them. Their shelter, food, animals, supplies, not to mention lives...
