A fun tidbit: On the official raw site, there's hidden text for every speech bubble, I assume to be used by screen readers and such. On page 34 (36 on raw site) there's also text for the 4 blank speech bubbles, and they say: "Marie, I love you." "Don't go." "Marie." "Let's always be together..."...

Well, we almost have enough chapters for a second volume and this would be a good place to end the story on a happy note... I hope not, though. I still wanna see more of these two 🐣

I'm sorry my obsession with quality is giving your phone a hard time. 🙇‍♀️ The current ones are about 3-5MB each, the low quality ones I used before were about 1-1.5MB so I don't think it's a huge difference, especially considering the raws are 10-15MB each so I'm already making them a lot...

Since the artist uses almost exclusively pixel brushes and text, it'd been bothering me a little that the text I used was anti-aliased so not using it would be more "accurate" to the source material. But maybe no one but me would notice them being either way, since I'm probably the only one...

You could be right. I interpret it as she just questioning whether those girls actually liked her romantically or not, without necessarily wanting to get in a relationship with one. I ain't too sharp though so I might be wrong.

Like vvise said, it was originally gender neutral, but I always thought the bath scene doubled as a "gay awakening" due to how strong her reaction was. Also the narrative of a lesbian having had meaningless relationships with men before falling for a woman and suddenly romance became important...

Had I taken a single glance at the next part of the chapter that entire note at the end wouldn't have been there, whoops. Fixed it now though so hope no one saw it.

From now on I'll just clone stamp the shit out of backgrounds if it seems like too much work to do by hand, other stuff I still need to do properly because I'm maybe a bit too critical of myself. I'll be fine (lie)
