So Johan dressed as nina at a young age like I thought, which is why the townspeople only thought there was one child. But was this before or after kinderheim 511 and does this mean that nina had similar training as well? Or was she just a way to disguise Johan from the public?

Yeah, the reveal makes so much sense. Great choreographing of it with his knowledge, great explanation for the fake smile and why it feels so fake, great great all around. Does lead me to wonder if all kinderheim 511 did was create Dissosociative Identity Disorder in all of the children instead...

Loooove that slow zoom on Grimmer and his gradually exaggerated features when Johan starts talking about the monster inside him. Further love how Grimmer defaults to his spy smile the second he lifts his face up, putting his mask back on and relying on his training to cope with the situation.

Agree with VasHy, thought no way it would happen because that sounded like twist for twists sake, but yeah it happened and it actually served a purpose. Also means we can't trust nina's appearances in the future or potentially the past, and if Johan is used to this then that could explain why...

Alright two things. One, it seemed definitely not to be Nina when she said her name was "anna," so good breadcrumbing for the reveal at the end of the chapter. Two, sorry for doubting you @Xeredge, you were 100% right and I fell for it.

Leading me more and more to believe that the story about the "two monsters" is truly the basis for the twins, and that nina/anna was just as bad as Johan originally and just forgot. Disagree with Xeredge that it's just Johan crossdressing, though that would be a twist. Either Nina's killing...

Agree with @Cosmak that Grimmers probably from the kinderheim. Makes sense why he knows so much about the results of it's "education," why he's searching for more info about it, and why he's seemingly not affiliated with Johan despite the first two points.
