We are all the help he needs. He doesn't need anybody else. He just needs to keep offering up prayers to us, and dealing with any pesky outsiders that try to interfere. We will take care of him; soon, we will be strong enough to take care of everything. Just 30 prayers left. I find your lack of...
Surprisingly dark ending chapters - it seems like a lot of the authors own disappointment with the world is really coming out in force... Kind of dissonant to write a world where human potential is off the charts, while still seemingly convinced that everything is going to shit
Wait... He fought in the trenches? I thought the Japanese mostly fought trench warfare when they fought the Russians 120 years ago, but he also lived long enough to learn about NEETs?
The actual Stevenson screen is my tablet screen that I'm using to read this comic. In that screen I see Hama and Yume compressed to a still, 2D surface, sliced up and rearranged by panel borders, and I can choose to look at their future, past or present.
This doesn't work well for parents... There comes a time in any parents life where their kids are just being creepy assholes telling you not to clean them, brush their teeth, turn off the Switch, etc... You just have to risk the curse
That would be a more interesting psychological thriller type of manga - if the owner just shows up rarely, and the real fear is what the other tenants are going to do to you to save themselves, and how to defeat them in a way that the manager 'approves' of...

Yeah, I'm happy for the translation, but this isn't a very good advertisement for the service... Maybe charge $1.25 instead and take on a native-English editor for the extra quarter
If the spring and the exorcisms had been real, the spirits would've passed on to their rightful next place... Instead he was trapping them and letting them fester into grudges, so letting them out and allowing them to take their revenge was for the greatest good, in a way.
It's too bad that Tuna Queen was cancelled so early, but on the other hand it felt like a natural place to wrap it up after that arc. Maybe some day there'll be a spinoff?
This ain't a sports manga or a romance manga, it's a cringe manga. Only the strongest and purest souls can read this level of cringe without turning away in shame for the characters. It is the ultimate shame test.
It says something about this series that I was 100% convinced that the third locker would have a naked dead woman in it, long before they opened it. It's both off the rails and predictable at the same time.
