Did not expect a filler chapter from Youjo Senki of all things. Suppose the quality of the manga is stellar to the point where consistency might suffer from maintaining a schedule, so a filler chapter isn't overly surprising, but eesh.

This "the Archduke is gay" subplot really should have ended with his lie. I hope they go somewhere interesting with it.

The action in this series has been pretty all right in the past, and I liked the touch of her being mid-knockout while she answered a question, but the pacing of that little beat-down was too slow to be funny and too fast to be entertaining.

@InsaneInsomniac he was a good person to start with, became less of one over time and Marie was just extremely loving and overprotective, not much of a yandere. He treated the protagonist male and female leads as if they were the horrible male and female leads of the future, and he payed for it.

Gotta love the pacing of this series
