This seems to be a current manga, but it's weirdly old school. It feels like something from fifteen years ago or more, just playing everything straight with classic characters, full steam ahead. But it's not bad . . . has a lot of energy.

Rarely have I seen anything so carefully designed to be a train wreck . . . and all the others were rocking a creepy and twisted vibe, but this is innocent kids headed for major destructive collision. Interesting approach . . . given how Ano Ko ni Kiss went, who knows if it will actually follow...

@OniBarubary I guess it's a lot closer than I remembered. What kind of shocked me into "This feels really different" territory was when she saved Mr. Pig God, who was apparently in the process of losing to Gums. In the original he totally ate that thing. I'm a Pig God fan, so it threw me off.

So there was a spy . . . for some unknown party that doesn't have any existence in this world, and nobody else from their faction would have reincarnated here, so whoever they are they have no allies and no cause now. And which furthermore, whatever else they might have been, certainly weren't...

I hate to say it guys, but the original here is actually funnier than the April Fools version. And I mean I kind of liked the April Fools, but this is gold.
