Manga IS complete. Author is taking a break from social media and so far there was no info about continuation or a new project. I don't think there will be a sequel to Combini though.

Well, they call exams at the end of every year "finals". From what I can gather, at the time it was about his finals for 1st year of HS.

We don't know when his birthday is, but in vol.2 ch.32 it was indirectly revealed that he's 17. Afaik, he is NOT a freshman. Check a Special of Vol.3 (ch.49.5), at the very least he's HS 2nd year. But I suspect that he's in graduating class already.

Well, then I'm glad I put some focus on it. Personally, I was expecting shiba inu to appear in the series from ch.1 :) As you can probably guess, "shiba" in shiba inu, and "shiba" in Shibasaki are sharing the same kanji. :)

Someone reported to you? :) For some reason some people thought that this manga has only 7 chapters (looking at the comments to the series), which is wrong. I just decided to give up some of my time to make it complete (even if it was cancelled). It's a cute one. :)

If you re-read early chapters, you'll remember that at first almost every communication with OL-san put Shibasaki in a near heartstroke shape. :') First time he even seriously thought whether or not he should ask her about putting a pair of chopsticks with the cat food . :D
