I'm actually a little surprised some people find it "problematic". If we call this age gap, isn't it like super duper innocent? What made me take it is actually Makoto's demi-stalkerish obsession with her. That felt fresh. And also this is the most problematic part of the story for me, tbh...

I actually think that author knew that it's get cancelled since when she (I assume) was told she need to wrap things up in 3 chapters. 9-10 feel much more logical than 8th to me.

My fault most definitely. :D Also it didn't have that ridiculous boost for the longest time like new series have on MD now. I started scanlating it when MD was DEAD. And kept being dead for several months.

If you think this is a Romcom with Slice of Life elements, maybe. But if you realize that this is a Slice of Life comedy with Romcom elements (like I do), it's progressing quite well. :')

No, when I first looked at the page (without reading) I was wondering the same, but it's unrelated. Just a silly moment with Takuan to tell everyone to calm ducking down. :) There was a little play on words, but I felt it was too insignificant to even mention it.

I'm telling you this as a person who's been translating it from the beginning (and till the end - in future), this is 85% soothing slice of life. :) They spend 5 minutes together. :) Just keep your expectations real if you plan to keep reading. :D

First of all it's mainly slice of life. :) If you're waiting for some action... Well, keep waiting. That's not the selling point of this manga. :) If you don't like it after 20 chapters, it's probably not for you. ;)
