This manga follows the WN very closely. So yes. The only thing I remember getting removed in the last couple chapters was that in the WN it mentions that Fukis plan was to prostitute herself to the occupying American forces, but yeah, it's one of the most faithful adaptions I've seen

I don't really think Tanya the Evil is quite the same. I will agree it's the closest thing to this, but it's not nearly as dark..and hopeless. For one, Tanya is crazy powerful..and is a bit of a sociopath so things like killing and sacrificing people don't bother her. But the MC in this one is...

Hiatus, but there are 18(?) chapters out right I believe. Hard to say if/たhen it will come back since it's been so long and we have no idea what the medical issue is (some take ages to recover from, just look at how long Ruri took to come back)

Yeah 7/8 was my least favorite arc too, I personally still enjoyed it, but yeah..it's like they tried to parody and generic isekai so much that it actually felt generic lol. I did like the mini sci-fi arc that happened right before it though

I have someone doing QC but I do the rest. Reikos chapters tend to take a while because of the massive amounts of dialogue in them

The WN is complete in Japanese and about 90% translated (although translations are currently stalled). LN Volume 4 comes out in about a week, which will bring it right up to where the manga started. The WN which can be found here...

IIRC, J-Novel never axed it..there are just only 4 LN volumes in Japanese. The Her Majestys Swarm LN sold pretty poorly, it's likely axed since the last volume came out in 2021

Volume 1 of the LN has sold around 6.5 times more than volume 1 of the Manga so, while it's not a runaway success, it's doing decently well and I don't think it's in any danger of being axed.
