option to hide chapters to be reviewed by the community :rejected:

We've had similar-ish suggestions floated around in the past. While it would be nice for there to be a service like that, MangaDex is a platform for releasing scanlations, not project management. If a group or uploader wants quality control for their releases, I'd suggest recruiting someone...

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

My speculation is based on being part of actually running this website for over two years and as such being quite aware of what's been happening with all the various groups who have wanted their stuff removed. If all this suggestion is supposed to do is sate the curiosity of some drama-seeking...

    Ponkotsu-chan Kenshouchuu - Vol. 3 Ch. 24 - Yumesaki-san and the Pool

Conscience means someone's moral sense of right and wrong, you're looking for the word consciousness

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

@JustNatsuki Again, when that happens the staff is usually aware of it and the reasons behind it regardless. Not to mention I can confidently say there are in fact also legitimate cases where the uploader wouldn't want to publicly answer the prompt honestly, so if it's for public-facing...

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

@JustNatsuki No, I mean literally what is the prompt you're talking about. What should it say, what is it for?

Threads most likely to come back from a V5 forum update purge.

The plan is to use xenforo

Remember current page number when switching between groups in the reader.

This would be pretty easy to implement as far as technicalities go, but yeah, it would run into various problems just as easily, for frankly questionable benefit and probably more complaints than anything.

I can't believe how well we're intentionally hiding the H toggle

Option to hide number of comments when reading. :rejected:

Depending on whether I decide I want to add this kind of minutiae options in the v5 reader, I might as well throw it in, but for now I'm not going to update the current one to include this. Being able to imagine what might happen in a chapter you haven't read yet is not a spoiler either.

"Something happens" is not a spoiler

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

Prompt for what? We in the staff are usually well aware of what's happening in cases like this.

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

I'm not inherently against something like this, I just don't know what form it should take. Chances are this'll just be de facto rejected due to inaction though.

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

Sure, but we've been talking about like a single, specific notice post, preferably a short one, not a comment section full of arguments which I thought was the entire point of your suggestion in the first place. New accounts aren't even necessary, we're specifically not talking about people who...

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

We already have Contributors. Anyway, I was talking specifically about the group's official response to our explanation for why their chapters are down being included in the same post. If we don't allow them to present their side, we'd be manipulative assholes just trying to look good in a bad...

    “Recent Clerical Events” for manga

@JustNatsuki Without shooting down the suggestion immediately, there are a few issues this specific implementation suggestion would run into from my perspective. First off, there's the problem of how we're supposed to frame notices like this. Just like bigtiddyoneesan mentioned, if we just go...

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You - Vol. 4 Ch. 31 - Master for a Day

I have to admit that we're not 100% sure it's correct, the "getting wet" kanji is so small that it's difficult to read and could possibly be wrong. It seems about right for this series though.
