Touge Oni - Vol. 7 Ch. 28 - Big Brawl

Also known as the Battle of Baekgang in Korea, the conflict was between the remaining forces of the Kingdom of Baekje + their Yamato Japan allies, VS. the Kingdom of Silla + their Tang China allies. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Baekgang

Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 14 Ch. 72

Iirc the author abandoned the WN to work full-time on the LN version. The next Vol 15 of the LN is going to be the final book. Yes that's correct. The anime also covered LN Vols 5, 8-9 for its S2. The manga only covered LNs 1-4, same as S1 of the anime.

Shinju no Nectar - Ch. 87 - The History of Huang Lia

The mangaka is even basing the current lore on the story of the RL lost Chinese Imperial Seal - made in the Qin Dynasty and serving as a physical mandate of rule for many dynasties - until it was lost after the fall of the Tang dynasty. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heirloom_Seal_of_the_Realm

    Spider-Man: Octopus-Girl - Ch. 24 - Monsters vs Monsters

It's always fun to see Japanese takes on US superhero material from both Marvel and DC Comics (although I feel like people don't really seem to notice the DC manga much).

    BATMAN and THE JUSTICE LEAGUE

The English language release of this series still remains incomplete to this day. DC Comics officially released the 1st 3 volumes in English, but strangely neglected to translate the final 4th volume since 2019. (DC has not made any move with this manga coming to 5 years now, and I strongly...

Mezametara Saikyou Soubi to Uchuusenmochi Datta node, Ikkodate Mezashite Youhei toshite Jiyuu ni Ikitai - Vol. 9 Ch. 43.2

There is one part in the novels where MC's spaceship interior is described as looking like a comfy highclass hotel after the various modifications he's put in (he makes sure he and his crew get the best) compared to other mercenary spaceships, so I imagine while other ships look like Cowboy...

Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 14 Ch. 71

Correct, manga ends here. To see more, now you have to follow the LNs or hope they make S3 of the anime.

Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 14 Ch. 71

Especially when you compare to other titles like Death March to The Parallel World Rhapsody - anime only covered up to the 1st 3 LNs, but luckily the manga is still adapting the LNs to this day.

Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 14 Ch. 71

Iirc the actual wedding doesn't take place until LN Vol 14, the latest one. https://www.kadokawa.co.jp/product/322401000140/ Shame, because I'd have liked to see how the manga would adapt later novel content like the reunion with Yarandrala and the confrontation with Van the replacement hero...

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou o Kakeru Kaifuku Youin - Vol. 15 Ch. 72

Oops, my mistake. Confused the evil dragon in Nea's arc with the dragon possession of this arc. But yes, one possibility is the anime S2 fits in LNs 3-5 into 12 eps to end with Usato gaining a new companion.

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou o Kakeru Kaifuku Youin - Vol. 15 Ch. 72

This black dragon arc is in LN 7, I don't think the anime's S2 can reach that point yet. They are likely to cover LN 3 (magic school arc) and LN 4-5 (Nea's arc), the question is how the anime will pace itself to cover both. Adapt both into a 12-episode season, or use only 1 arc?

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou o Kakeru Kaifuku Youin - Vol. 15 Ch. 72

I wonder how much content S2 can cover. 2 LNs just like the last one?

The Ride-On King - Ch. 71 - The President and the Elven Capital

The writing here is proof that not every Isekai themed work has to be some lazy rehash of cheap cliches for self-insert appeal, provided the author puts some thought into the story. And yet somehow, the lazy rehash stories are still quite popular, esp. those that started as WNs.

Deathbound Duke's Daughter and the Seven Nobles - Vol. 4 Ch. 23

That is likely, when you consider more successful manga ads for other LNs are still ongoing (ex. Death March manga adaptation). There's even one series, The Strongest Wizard Making Full Use of the Strategy Guide, where even though the LNs were discontinued just like this one, the manga...

I Awoke as an Imprisoned Villainess - Ch. 8

All I can say is there's a conspiracy afoot, and Violet is trying to solve it.

Deathbound Duke's Daughter and the Seven Nobles - Vol. 4 Ch. 23

The manga adaptation covers up to the last released LN Vol 2, which has been discontinued for some years now. The WN is still ongoing. The story gets even better and more intriguing in later arcs, but unfortunately I don't think it was able to attract enough domestic JP readers to support the...

Shini Yasui Koushaku Reijou to Shichi-nin no Kikoushi - Vol. 4 Ch. 24

I also recall the story becoming much better around that time too...unfortunately the LN version got discontinued after Vol 2.

Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 14 Ch. 70

Definitely not the last of the light novel content, but we'll have to see if the mangaka/publisher still wants to cover the rest of the novels. This manga chapter about ends the 1st major story arc, which spans source LNs 1-4. It's taken about 6 years for the manga to reach this point...

Juunenme, Kikan wo Akirameta Tenisha wa Imasara Shujinkou ni naru - Vol. 2 Ch. 9 - Flareteria Dungeon Conquest: Part 1

I've also noticed that some manga adaptations of web/light novels have more distinctive character designs compared to the novel illustrations/descriptions. Like in Banished From the Hero's Party - one mini arc had the characters meeting this contract demon, which looked like a sexy, big...
