I think I might correct that page, the original is "はや。。。" (haya) which I thought was just a wordless shout because it doesn't have a speech bubble arrow from Yajin. But looking at it now, I can see it's probably Yajin starting to say "速い" or hayai (fast).

Did Yajin bite off more than he can chew? Did he reel in a shark, or will it turn into a red herring?

Honestly, for my first draught of the translation, I tried to imitate the ridiculous machine translation, and make all the dialogue a joke - but nothing I wrote was even remotely as funny as "You're fired, dude". In the end I thought if I put up an honest, serious translation, people could...

Yeah, it was about an hour per page of redraws. I actually think the text design, line work, and blocking, is pretty good for this manga. Just a shame that the character designs are copy pasted from basically any isekai you might choose to look at. Why would someone do that kind of sterling work...

I'm really sorry, I did this mainly as a joke. It just didn't turn out very funny. :unsure: I don't know why the original group pulled all their chapters - I think they might have improved the original plot.

I should probably read the light novel so I can guide the translation more accurately, but my guess is that Melgo has some sort of secret that explains his unusually high level and also why he hasn't achieved more with his life - and that secret won't be revealed till the showdown with Yajin...

Anything over 15 is big league stuff, and Yajin is definitely higher than 19, and probably less than 25 (there's no running update in the manga). But given that Yajin's knuckles seem to deal pretty well with higher level enemies' faces, I guess Melgo is a risky opponent, but not massively more...

Before he killed Gary he was level 19, and he leveled up his sense presence skill during the fight, so he might have already broken through the level 20 ceiling. I haven't read the light novel though, so can't say more than what has been revealed in the manga.

I think it's the opposite, he needs to flee to keep Puppy safe, if he was on his own he probably wouldn't need to run. His dad instincts are stronger than his murder hobo instincts!
