MTL went Chinese for a bit there on page 10. The kid's name is given as Umi on the page prior. EDIT: I just realized it's mistranslated on the Indonesian version, too, so that's on the Indonesian translator.

I'll go a step further and say this Lou-induced jealousy drama was full-on dumb. Also, a note to the scanlator - on page 29, the caller ID says "Kuon," but it's Kanou who's calling.

It's not specific things so much as it is the entire script. Much of it does not read like English written by an English speaker. It reads more like English that got sent through several languages in Google Translate and then back to English - the individual words make sense (except for "tact"...

I appreciate the effort, but in these last few chapters the translation's English has been very awkward and is really hard to follow.

If anyone from Kirei Cake is watching the comments here, page 5 was uploaded as the last page of the chapter. The rest of the pages are in the correct order aside from that.

"Pretty careful" isn't good enough, then, since chapter 8 has them on pages 7 ("Yes" in the bottom left), 9 ("Shaaa", bottom panel), and 13 ("Yay", top panel).

FYI, some of the upside down question marks and exclamation points from your Spanish translation are leaking into the English chapters (e.g. pages 8, 11, and 14 in this chapter, and they're also present in some of the other chapters).

Better typesetting than the other version for sure, but the translation itself leaves something to be desired.
