They lull you into a false sense of security with the first two comedic chapters, and then you just get smacked in the face with downer melancholy. Classic Kamoi! Also, the "twist" at the end meant I had to go back and edit a bunch of previous pages. That was annoying.

I didn't find it particularly funny either, and I would say that it was even less humorous in Japanese. I haven't seen enough manzai to know whether it's supposed to be good or not.

I feel like pretty much every chapter in this series has brought them a millimeter or two closer to each other. And maybe I wrote it poorly, but the final line of the chapter is Yui saying that he's somehow going to fail to realize the obvious.

Ayumi's last name is supposed to be Miyamura (宮村). However, on page 23 of this chapter, it unmistakably says Miyahara (宮原). So the error is the author's, or the in-fiction competition organizer's, not mine.
