The villains being some weird unspecific elder gods really doesn't help. So its always deus ex machina vs a devil ex machina. nothing truly interesting can come from that setting, since the villains can do esentially whatever, and the heroes always win by some random bulshit power.

I still have no clue what the plot is even going towards. Some elder god stuff I guess, but I don't understand anything that is happening. TBF, the writer probably does neither.

They could have done this in a neat character arc, making them accept their new identity. But the story just had to be weird about it. Why is this all about the knight for 200 chapters only to then switch to the girl they advertised after 200 chapters, while discarding the old cast?
