I don't care. He has messed with the career of a young brilliant person. Academic is a cut-throat world so it could have been worse

These cases have become very humdrum. There was so much emphasis on Shinra being the knowledge bearer of the British museum in early chapters. And now he has become Kindaichi v2.

There are two deaths and one escape. If someone is locked in a sealed castle, they are going to die from illness, malnutrition, or natural causes. The one who escaped figured out the lattice trick. Anyway, the castle has been around since the Meiji era so even without the prison, having 2 people...

I don't see anything sad about it. The culprit is sleazy, and the old lady is greedy. They all have to pay a price for their bad choices. What can be called a tragedy is the Interference chapter: a young man had to give up his dream (football) against his choice (injury). He mingled with bad...

Apreciate your sharings if Catalan expressions. I guess Bernard's ancestors would forgive him if the woman in trouble is not beautiful.

Nice to be young and a busybody.

It's heart warming, and ...scary at the same time.

The early chapters were full of historical and science knowledge that set the manga apart from other manga in the mystical genre. Now they have become more like American whodunnit where twisted people kill their loved ones.

Eh, did the cousin really work hard for his boarding house? It seems like he just loitered around and the kids did most of the work.

Whoa, isn't he a kid at that time? What I've learned from this manga is that Japanese police are really horrible to underage people of interest. And who needs enemies when you have relatives like them?

There's no way they are not smoking something weird lol.

I like this ending. Not another sappy ending where a teacher with a heart of gold quietly leaves a powerful lesson for his students which they will talk about in ten year's time and be grateful. Sometimes a mean, petite person happens to be a teacher. Nothing more, nothing less.

Darwin had two choices: continue to accuse the crew and end up with a mysterious death, or concede and leave behind an indictment letter for the future generations. He has no proof that they killed Robin anyway.

The daughter is quite shallow. Even if he agreed to go to America, would she have the time and energy to take care of him?

Of course he shouldn't be in the court. But the stupid ones are the adults who let an emotional 15-year-old boy representing at the court.

I think Shinra hiding the truth is on brand for me. He is emotional and has been shown to be caring for other people. Touma is more likely to hide the truth since he is not interested in finding wrongs to right and is somewhat of a sociopath IMO. If the woman marrying Blue is low, then Blue is...

I think Shinra has been emotional from early chapters. He's academic smart but not precocious. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

In fact, Korean and Chinese cooking do contain sugar in savory dishes. However, that doesn't keep me from cooking them: I simply reduce sugar, or skip it. A lot of condiments like soy sauce, oyster sauce, gochujang, mirin etc contains sugar, or are already sweet anyway. Ketchup is indeed more...

Big fan of japchae. However, I think this recipe has too many ingredients in the pan at one point: ground meat, onion, carrot. Then you add the mushrooms so the mushrooms basically steam and don't get any chance of browning. And the carrots already soften when you add mushrooms. If you wait...

Interestingly, I couldn't find the steamed chicken and cucumber recipe on Tsukuoki's website. The chicken is seasoned with just half tbsp of sugar and a pinch of salt, then cooked in water for 60 minutes. Why does it have to be 60 minutes, and how much water for one piece of chicken breast? If...
