It made sense that she couldn't fit her face and the food when taking the selfie, but with a fixed camera she's doing it on purpose.

I wouldn't call it "involuntarily", but it was definitely un-premeditated. And their conversation was effectively over at that point. She asked what he drew, he answered vaguely, then they stopped talking altogether. There was no more conversation going on when she went to open the container. So...

She only noticed the container after he had left to do the cleaning. That reminded her of their conversation the day before and she asked him what he had drawn. His response was sketchy ("your voice is kinda shrieky, senpai"), which made her curious, so she went and looked at it. She didn't plan...

If there had been any previous instance of him asking her not to look at the stuff he's working on, I would agree. But their whole relationship is based around Nagatoro pushing his boundaries. "Bullying him". Without that, they wouldn't even be talking to each other. Complaining about it now...

This is a really dumb conflict. She knows he ocassionally draws nudes, she has even modelled for him. So why would he hide that he drew a nude? Him being flustered about it is a bigger problem than doing it in the first place. If he'd just said he did it, there would have been no conflict at...

I guess we'll have to. The fact that whoever marries Anis becomes the heir still undermines the conflict with Al though, because Anis is still not the ruler in that scenario. Her husband would be. Did they have a reason to believe any candidates for the position would be supportive of her? What...

Man, if only there was someone who could have taken the role of king while supporting Anis' dreams. Like a brother who cared about her. Wouldn't that be great? Her parents could pump out another heir too, they're fairly young still. It's definitely to soon to be writing them off as dead and...

The reason she was killed in the previous timeline wasn't because of any crimes she commited, but simply because in a revolution against a feudal system, everyone that could come back later with a claim gets executed. She was a princess but never really in a position of authority. She asked for...

Man, you'd think they'd teach these ninjas in Assassination 101 not to announce their sneak attacks by screaming "DIE" at the target.

It's strange that this guy was sent here 30 years ago. Himmel died 31 years ago. So this list was created one year after Himmel passed away, and something like 50 years after the defeat of the demon king (I forget how much time passed between the defeat of the demon king and Himmel's death). And...

I love how the author didn't bother stretching it out. I was worried when I saw how little of the chapter was left, and then the author just went "Lloyd solved the case with Anya's hints and his photographic memory and deductive skills". Not even an explanation of the tricks involved or anything.

So is Hisui the only (fully) human member of green batallion now?

I can't really buy Al's reasoning. From previous chapters, it sounds like he is the one that cut off contact with his sister after she gave up her role. We are told she tried to reach out to him during the intervening years, but he was too busy feeling sorry for himself to talk to the person he...

I really dislike Hibiki, so glad to see him suffer the consequences of his dumb philosophy. We never really spent much time with Pink, so her death isn't too painful.

I like it, but I'm confused why she didn't recognize the commander? At the beginning the commander took of her helmet so "she could see her honesty". Shouldn't she have recognized her when she was clinging on to the duke and realized something was up?

Was this supposed to make us empathise with Al? Because it did the opposite for me. He wanted to help Anis develop Magicology, and when she gave up her claim to the throne to focus entirely on Magicology, placing him in the ideal position to help her (not with the actual research, but from a...

I really disliked the whole "octopus aliens" subplot more than the robot rights shenanigans. At least the robot rights and the different perspectives follow the original themes. The aliens just came from nowhere and offer nothing to the plot. But what bothers me about this terrorist plot is, how...

Right, it does seem like, if he really felt the things he claims to feel, he could have approached his sister before turning himself into a vampire. His entire family seems supportive, and he could have brought up these concerns with his parents. Like, "how do I deal with all the nobles and the...

Same thing I was complaining about last chapter. Al complains that the "current" Anis would be a better queen, but that's only true because she had time to build up magitech while not being the heir. No matter how smart or driven she was, if she had been a queen with no magic or achievements or...
