The pacing is all over the place, exposition is really ham fisted into the plot, and things aren’t explained properly. Feels like it’s trying to tick as many fanservice boxes as possible isekai, harem, Superman MC, lewd, MC in high demand just for existing, etc.

Another hecking wholesome slop manga that doesn’t take its own setting seriously… Years of abuse is suddenly hand waved away by birthday cake and gifts

Just think about it logically for a second. Why would a manga have its cover page, which is intended to catch a reader’s eye and pull them in, be full of rookie mistakes? Any artist worth their salt is making decisions deliberately and intentionally, especially for something like a cover page...

Wow, we’re really in an era of AI generated manga cover art… If you don’t believe me, look at the lack of coherent signage, strange architecture of the background building, red head’s arm length, redhead has two sword sheathes but only one sword, and vastly different art styles when comparing...

No way the artist knew their age before drawing the first chapter. How tf do you see these two characters and go: “yup, seven years old”

I was expecting Yuuki to pull out some special move, but this is cool too

Smoke

Treat chapters 0.0-0.9 as a separate series the rest is absolutely terrible. With it being made in ‘92, its degeneracy trumps some of what we have currently. Hardcore BDSM, Scat fetish, and constant NTR/ cheating ruin the main character who should by all accounts be the smartest dude on the planet

Yuji is gonna come out of the domain on the floor, dead like a family guy character, because Gege can’t have this be easy.

So far we have off brand Megumi, fat Gojo, that bug guy from Naruto, and a middle schooler that wears a hoodie when its 90F outside. What a fun friend group

Idk if anyone feels the same, but I would've liked Kang Lim to personally tell them they're all from a webtoon instead of it being revealed by Jung-Ah. Almost every heroine has noticed his coincidences, and there was even a brief subplot of Yurim wanting to sniff out his secrets. It's not like...

Chainsaw man? More like now I’m sad, man

Just an observation, but her super glossy eyes and the 3 or so pages of her holding the same expression make her almost look soulless. That, coupled with her general ignorance, made her seem like a puppet this chapter lol

6.5/10 Imitates some parts that made Solo Leveling so popular, and if you simplify some plot points, it’s like you’re reading the same story. However, it’s still able to feel different enough that I don’t mind reading it- even if I can vaguely expect where the story will go

i would LOVE to see some more body horror and grotesque amalgamations from Dwight. When dealing with necromancy surely theres more you can do aside from just skeletons

2/10. This is a middle schooler's wet dream. Revenge power fantasy to his former party that are comically evil for the sake of character development. MC buys a slave with the mindset that they cant betray or leave him, and despite being visibly afraid of him, the slave places all of her trust...

This is one of the manga that really make all your troubles in life feel so small. Great ending

Welcome to the jujustu kaisen manga, where all your favorite characters die because Sukuna NEEDS to be that strong and Yuji NEEDS to suffer. Those past couple months and years developing their individual stories? All of it down the toilet just to emphasize the big mean bad man is big and mean

Agreed. I don’t know if it’s the translation, but I’ve seen a lot of Chinese manga have terrible pacing. Great initial concept, but after chapter 3-5 the quality starts falling and the story feels stagnant

I know Sukuna is really strong and all, but with how many bodies they’re throwing at him it’s starting to get boring. Progress is being made at such a slow pace. 2 steps forward 1 step back sort of feeling
