Basically a worse and watered down version of Oreki that ended up in a harem romcom universe....

Manga is pretty subpar. They had a good start with the MC and the main girl, but then introduced too many characters that felt extremely two dimensional. No character has a fully fleshed out personality, so that when they actually befriend Mashiro it doesn’t even feel like the same characters from a few chapters prior.

Then they introduced this subplot of the characters creating a game together, which feels half assed most of the time. Almost nothing is explained in that aspect. I know the readers don’t need to know everything, but at least tell us what type of game it is so we can get an understanding of what they’re referring to in the story.

Overall this had good potential if they stuck to a partially typical slice of life that focused on the MC and main girl. 4/10
