@SomeGuyWithHair Hopefully you have since read Hata’s Rocket Punch, but if not, go read it. It is basically Himegame’s backstory with respect to that plot point. Admittedly the character seems to have had his name changed since then, but he is clearly intended to be the same character.

There is no way Isumi actually has a pilots license, so those helicopters that she peiced together, are surely not only not airworthy, but being piloted by somebody with no idea what she is doing (which is obviously not unusual for Isumi). It is a miracle she did not die from the first 3 crashes.

With Isumi as a guide, they could just as easily end up in Australia as in Kyoto. This ought to be interesting indeed.

Ok this is now the third time in this manga alone of near or actual truck crash into pedestrians. That is not to mention the one critical to the intro of Hata’s next manga series. He clearly has like a (near/actual) truck crash into pedestrian fetish or something.

Her almost getting hit by that bus or truck feels very familiar. Almost as if this mangaka would later reuse that sort of scenario near the beginning of another serialization set in the same universe. But surely that could not be the case, right?
