Agree that it should have zero score impact. Sometimes you’re just spooked by a sudden horror panel or creepy reveal, but it’s not the same as disliking the chapter or the post itself. A fear reaction would be fun and pretty fitting for a lot of manga genres.

A chapter count filter would help separate short, new series from longer, developed ones. Tying it to the preferred language makes sense too, hope it gets added.

A rating filter in advanced search would help narrow things down for people looking for higher-rated titles. It could save a lot of time browsing through results.

User behavior could totally skew the data if people mess around with the timers or just read in unusual ways. I guess any system like this would have to allow for a big margin of error or only show rough averages.

I’ve noticed that too. Loading so many pages at once can be slow and messy if your connection isn’t great. It would be nice if it just loaded one page at a time, like you said. Makes reading easier without having to reload stuff.

I agree that separating search requests could help clean things up a bit in the Manga forum. "Manga Finding/Recommendations" sounds like a reasonable label, clear enough to cover both "what was this manga?" and "what should I read next?" without inviting too many unrelated posts.

Keeping read markers and showing gaps would really help track what’s been read. Having a reason tag and update flag like Feha suggested would make it even clearer when chapters are replaced or removed.
