Limit reader loading.

Reader load all pages in focus and the continues loading all subsequent pages, which are usually too many and it fails with the orange retry button.
Please add a user set limit to how many page its going to try to load after the current in focus page. Also add retry fail count, how many times its going to try to load a page after stopping.
Also because most pages unloaded are in focus/view they also start loading which is not efficient at all.

If I remember correctly the reader only tries to load 5 images at one time. As soon as one image is done loading another one starts getting loaded until all images in the chapter have been loaded.

The reader tries to load each image 3 times before giving up and showing the retry button.

The reader tries to load images in order, but given that image sizes can vary, sometimes they end up finishing out of order (i.e. if page 1 is 10MB and page 2 is 1MB chances are page 2 will finish downloading before page 1).

Maybe it is loading 5 images at a time but I see the reader often failing to load images that are much further than the 5th one. Maybe there should be an option to stop the loading if the next 5 images are done.

In normal circumstances, Mangadex seems to load pages out of order. With a slow internet connection, this can lead to a lot of pages needing manual reloads, so as I read I need to skip a page forward to start it loading as I read the previous page. I suggest a focused mode where the reader only attempts to load the first page (or maybe first two), then the next, then the next. That way you're not waiting for page three to load as the reader decides page 20 is where it's at.

(There is a similar thread to this, but that was a year ago and went nowhere so I'm throwing the issue up again (and five pages at a time is wayy too much sometimes))

I wish it is actually an option.
There are time where i want them to load one by one or in parallel.

I’ve noticed that too. Loading so many pages at once can be slow and messy if your connection isn’t great. It would be nice if it just loaded one page at a time, like you said. Makes reading easier without having to reload stuff.

I'd like something like sadpanda has, where one can specifically send an instruction to reload a broken page, at any time during the loading process. Sometimes the page loader also gets stuck and all.
