Status has never saved anyone from getting beat up , jumped or shot. Im probably just seeing this from a american perspective of just how none of this would happen.Or at least not this way. Not necessarily. I'd say it depends on what the author wants to do with the story. If the author wants to see the teacher snap, then there is a chance we won't even see the police. It's hard to predict the direction the author wishes to take his story. Just consider it as "Monkey does what monkey does".

Good lawyers mean everything, and nobody wants to attack the rich people and ruin their own lives in the process. Killing somebody might be on another level, but the thing about cases like this is that you're biased because you never find out when they get away with it. It could be happening all the time.
