Would romcom protagonists like this make the perfect employees for working with radiation sources? Or may be even astronauts?

You know, I started reading this yesterday and while not bad, I think the gimmick is overstaying its welcome.

Yeah, I mean I get that the author is really trying to get the most juice outta this thing they got going on, but the longer it takes the more bizarre it becomes that someone in this community, not in the know about the game she's playing, hasn't just accidently called her by her name out in the open within earshot of him.

Just one person could upend this whole charade and then what? You'd actually have to move the story along to something more meaningful and that would take a lotta work ya know?

What's that? The little sister doesn't know who the older man her sister and friend are hanging out with saw them at the festival?

I wonder how this is going to go....
