I find it funny that there was no supernatural horror twist in the story this time around, instead it's just the burden of commitment and the act of trying to escape it. Recently, it becomes interesting once you consider that the characters might be trying to express their true feelings in the stories they tell.

I mean after all that why would you not immediately get rid of /burn the envelope tho i guess that'd backfire too

That family is oddly ok with their daughter dying

that should NOT be a legally binding marriage!!!! fuck you!!!!

"til death do us part" but be funny if he was able to file for a divorce in court

i remember hearing about 'ghost marriages' being a chinese thing but more of a tragic bittersweet thing as opposed to a haunted/horror thing

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_ghost_marriage Tho be a hilarious thing for another person to avoid commitment like 'yeah i have a ghost marriage so i can't marry a living person anymore'

Yuuma speaks about final preparations so that there's no regrets while the girl in the story dies with a smile on her face after prearranging the materials for the Ghost Marriage. It symbolizes the shared desire for companionship even beyond the grave, but also with a tingle of guilt that the guy killed her (perhaps in not-so self defense) while Hina would similarly be gone.

kind of forgot what is happening in the world here... What is wrong with girl...
That is the spirit of Yuuma's Mother (allegedly) who has possessed Yuuma's classroom friend as a vessel when she burned the item he was telling ghost stories to back in Ch. 80. Yuuma needs to finish the 100th Ghost Story for her possession to become permanent. If you look at the calendar in the background of this chapter's final panel you'll see this was Day 98 with the others already X'd out. Only two left.

Kazuma needs to get an attorney, like pronto. Even without signing the papers if Kyoko's ghost continues to assert that she's married to him and resides in his primary residence for at least a year there's a real risk that he'd end up in a legally binding common law ghost marriage anyway. I personally know three people that this has happened to.

Remember folks, if you move into a new place and think it's haunted, don't just contact an exorcist: book a consultation with a lawyer. People are all too often blindsided by a tragically late discovery of their legal obligations concerning begrudgingly deceased roommates.

I mean look at some point you have to let your children decide what makes them happy and respect their decisions.

I suppose so but I imagine most wouldn’t show up at at their door versus more of an implication that they also had darker tendencies themselves lol , maybe family “tradition”
